Welcome, welcome, welcome!
I am Crystal Briscoe. I am so excited and especially honored that you have stopped by to check out what I pray will be a blog that provides spiritual, financial, and practical education, encouragement, and accountability for those of you who have a passion to be changed so that together we may become active contributors who will change our communities and the world at large, to the glory of God.
Why I Have Decided to Blog
My decision to blog is nothing more than a catalyst for connecting with like-minded people – people who are interested in moving beyond the knowledge of who we are and who God is in order to possess the power to experience who God is, and to allow His Spirit to live through us until we become and execute all He intended when He created us.
About this Blog
I have spent almost two decades as a lead Bible teacher and seven years as a bookkeeper, accountant, and personal finance consultant. As I mature in both fields, I am noticing a discouraging trend developing among those who seek my services. Many who express interest in gaining a better understanding of spiritual or financial matters often aren’t as prepared as they need to be to consistently apply the principles that will change their lives over the long term.
Each of us have been entrusted with a God-given inheritance, both spiritually and financially. We have been given the responsibility of demonstrating the love of God and the power of Heaven right now, right here on Earth. Now, that doesn’t mean that we’ll all walk on water or become millionaires, but it does mean that we each have the potential to receive every promise God has made to us individually and collectively, if and when we are open enough to believe and receive them.
The focus of this blog is to inspire change. I am inviting you to engage in thought provoking conversations that will inspire fellow us to abandon oppressive beliefs and actions that paralyze us from being who we were born to be, and to do what were born to do as God’s free people – people determined to surrender our hearts and lives to Him.
Each week day, we will focus on a topic that relates to a specific area of interest. Here is a brief description of them:
·         Money Mentality Monday (discussing the beliefs that are motivating our financial actions, and the reasons we are or aren’t changing those beliefs in order to attain and maintain real financial freedom)
·         To Tell You the Truth Tuesday (revealing the hidden truths and outrageous lies we have come to believe about ourselves, our lives, our neighbors, our world, and God)
·         What Do You Have to Offer Wednesday (challenging one another to celebrate our individual value as we purposely pursue opportunities to share who we are and what we have with others)
·         Thirsty Thursday (compelling each other to discover and act upon that which we are most passionate to see change in our lives and the lives of those around us)
·         Freedom Friday (provoking people to become UNCHAINED from all oppression and free to live life hidden in Christ Jesus so that we are able to become UNCHANGED by materialism and circumstances).
Will you join me? I know you will.
I look forward to getting to know you and watching as God takes our small seeds and develop them into endless orchards filled with the most beautiful, fruitful trees!
